Adequate notice of this meeting of the Township Committee was sent to the Courier News, Somerville, Bernardsville News, Whippany and to all subscribers and posted at the Township Municipal Building on January 7, 2025.

10. Introduction of Ordinances
a. Ordinance No. 2025-014 – Amending Chapter 2 entitled “Administration” Section 2-9. Entitled “Police Department” of the Township of Bedminster General Ordinances.
b. Ordinance No. 2025-015 – Amending Chapter 2 entitled “Administration” and establishing Section 2-26 Entitled “Jacobus Vanderveer House Commission”.

12. Consent Agenda (Consent agenda includes items of a routine nature on which consensus has been previously reached. Committee members may remove any item from the prepared agenda for discussion & possible action later in the Meeting)
a. Resolution No. 2025-099 – Authorizing the hiring of Temporary Employee(s) in the Tax Office to assist with preparation and mailing of tax bills.
b. Resolution No. 2025-100 – Restoring Energy Taxes to Municipalities on gas and electric utilities were originally collected by the host.
c. Resolution No. 2025-101 – Authorizes the refund of a Tax Overpayment.
d. Resolution No. 2025-102 – Appoints a substitute Construction Official, Building Subcode Official, Building Inspector RCS, Fire Protection Subcode Official, Fire Protection Inspector ICS, Plumbing Subcode official and Plumbing Inspector HHS, Stephen Rodzinak.
e. Resolution No. 2025-103 – Authorizes individuals to be employed as seasonal employees for the Recreation Department from June 27th to August 8th, 2025.
f. Resolution No. 2025-105 – Authorizes the acquisition of a Tanker Fire Service Vehicle from Blaze through Sourcewell Co-op Network.
g. Resolution No. 2025-106 – Authorizes the acquisition of a gas-powered Boom Lift from United Rentals through State Contract.
h. Resolution No. 2025-108 – Appoints part-time substitute Fire Subcode Official, Thomas Byrne, Jr.
13. Resolutions
a. Resolution No. 2025-098 – Authorizing the Township Attorney to file a copy of this Resolution endorsing the Housing Element and Fair Share Plan Adopted by the Township Planning Board on June 12, 2025,
pursuant to recent legislation re Municipalities’ compliance with their affordable housing obligations.
b. Resolution No. 2025-104 – Approves the Director of the Division of Local Government Services to establish a dedicated Trust for funds dedicated to Jacobus Vanderveer House.
c. Resolution No. 2025-107 – Recognizes the Far Hills-Bedminster Fire Department as a NJ Division of Fire Safety designated Level 2 Training Facility.
d. Resolution No. 2025-109 - Governing Body Certification of Review of Audit.
e. Resolution No. 2025-110 – Authorizes the approval of the 2024 Audit Corrective Action Plan.
